The SHIPPOS tracking system has been developed specifically for shipping companies, offshore support & oil exploration companies and coastal fleet operators to track powered and unpowered fleets.

Ship positions (the track) are reported back in real time, giving operation, technical department, investors’ and customer exact overview of the fleet  (position, speed heading and track). Individual ships can be tagged with added information concerning destination and ETA etc.

SHIPPOS tracking system is a web-based service that provides an effective way of automatically tracking and managing vessels in real time

Access from Google Earth is controlled by a password protection scheme, which is administrated through a web interface, meaning that access to 1 or more ships can be given on an individual basis to individual costumers, controlled by who has the access codes for the to the web interface.
